Hi I’m Katelyn!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in San Diego- but you can also call me a shame challenger and resiliency cultivator! I believe the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship itself. I work to make my clients feel safe and welcomed by creating an atmosphere where people can be themselves.

I support those struggling to overcome what is holding them back and to create a more balanced life. I know through my own experiences, that when we are able to share our story with an empathetic, non-judgmental person it can be transformative and healing.

I am a certified Daring Way Facilitator (based on Brene Brown’s work). Through this lens, I help people who are experiencing shame (we all have it!) or never feeling (fill-in-the-blank) enough cultivate a more joyful life.

In addition, I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) where we work to find the synthesis between change and acceptance.

I have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, in home, and non-profit.

I thoroughly enjoy working with military service members and their families facing all the challenges the military lifestyle can bring.

Life isn’t meant to be experienced alone. We are humans with the need and desire to be seen, heard and belong. I am an LGBTQI+ allied and inclusive therapist.

Now let’s get connected and start investing in YOU!
